Right, that wraps up game 33. I don't need to remind you to tune in at 1600 IST for Warne v Tendulkar. And then we have Pune v Bangalore in the evening. Until then, this is Nitin Sundar signing off. Cheers!

Presentation time:

Tiwary is Man of the Match "Thanks to the bat sponsors (what a smart plug!), thanks to them I am connecting my shots. I tried to stay till the end, and the others played around me, things worked well for me today. (As he speaks, the team owner pounces on him from behind and hugs him...). Hope to continue my contributions."

Gambhir: "The guys showed a lot of desperation, we all wanted to win desperately ... I never expected so much spin on such a grassy wicket. Everyone contributed in his own way, and if you manage to defend a score of 148 it gives the team a lot of confidence. Our bowlers showed what they are made of. My heart and soul is with KKR, I am not a Delhi boy anymore (big cheers before he says that, not so big after.)"

Sehwag: "We had enough batsmen, but no one took the responsibility to finish the job for the team. I said 150-160 is easily chasable, but KKR bowled well."

Mayank: "Atleast Agarkar did better than a first ball duck.." Leave that man alone I say!

Akhilesh: "Long Long ago.. Agarkar used to be an Allrounder"

Jigar: "A message to IPL teams from Lee: You run me out, I run two of yours out!"

Brett Lee describes Iqbal Abdulla's first ball thus: "It was like Warne to Gatting, wasn't it?" Haha!

19.6
1
Balaji to Umesh Yadav, 1 run

Delhi have lost five games. Not good for them. Yadav drives the last ball to mid-off for a single. Not close to enough. The Kotla bustles without the kind of energy that was there earlier in the day. Finally, Gambhir has a half-smile.

19.5
W
Balaji to Nagar, OUT

Nagar is gone now, he's not timed the pull to another slower bouncer, he looked to swat it from well outside off, and ended up popping it to the keeper.

Yogesh Nagar c †Goswami b Balaji 19 (12b 0x4 2x6) SR: 158.33

Gambhir is jumping around, exhorting his troops and looking very pensive. He can relax now, this game is in the bag.

19.4
1
Balaji to Morkel, 1 run

Morne gets a single, not enough. Full and straight, played without timing past mid-off for a single.

19.3
Balaji to Morkel, no run

Bala wisely keeps it as wide outside off as possible. Morne backs away, and despite his height he can't reach this.

19.2
4
Balaji to Morkel, FOUR runs

lucky, Morne squeezes a low full toss outside off down to third man. He just flailed at it wildly, and it ran away to the fence.

19.1
Balaji to Morkel, no run

dot ball to start off, Morkel misses a slower ball that comes in IPL 2012. Swing and a miss.

Bala for the last over.

Lee to Nagar, no run

Nagar knows the conventional is not working, so he tries the unconventional. He moves across the stumps and looks to paddle a full and fast ball outside off. He ends up playing it right back at Lee who collects and menaces him with a mock charge, as if he's going to hurl his stumps down. Nagar backs away. Take a bow, Brett Lee.

18.5
1
Lee to Morkel, 1 run

Morne gets an unplayable yorker. He meekly defends to the off side for one. Lee has won it for them with a top over.

18.4
1
Lee to Nagar, 1 run

Nagar pushes a single in front of square. No hat-trick of run outs.

18.3
W
Lee to Nagar, OUT

another duck for Agarkar. Lee sends down another thunderbolt yorker outside off, Nagar squeezes to mid off, Agarkar has hared halfway down before turning back. Easier collection and finish from Lee this time.

Ajit Agarkar run out (Balaji/Lee) 0 (0b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0

Lee to Rao, OUT

Lee, you champion. He's produces a one-of-a-kind run-out, seemed like a scene out of NBA this. Length ball outside off, Venu goes for a big swipe and misses. Nagar comes for the single, Venu responds, the keeper collects, Lee arrests his follow through and back pedals towards the non-striker's stumps. The throw is looped in high, Lee leaps up to collect, and then twists mid-air and then slam-dunks the stumps down from a big height. Venu was stuck behind Lee, not that he even had a chance of making his crease. Spectacular.

and what a ball to start with. Yorker, six inches outside off and very fast. Venu can't get bat on it.

14 came off that over. Lee comes on now.

Balaji to Nagar, SIX runs

Oh boy, Delhi haven't given up yet. Nagar lands a telling blow. Length from Bala, he keeps doing this all the time. Nagar keeps the front foot out of the way to ensure it is in the slot, and then up-and-overs it beyond extra cover. Game, not over.

Balaji to Rao, 1 run

top-notch yorker, on the toes, and Venu digs it out to the off side just for a single.

17.4
4
Balaji to Rao, FOUR runs

short and wide, crucial boundary for DD, Venu carves it over the covers and even Kallis can't stop this.

17.3
2
Balaji to Rao, 2 runs

Kallis is everywhere. Now he's sweeping on the covers. Full ball on the off stump, Venu times it really well towards point and the sweeper Kallis cuts it off again.

17.2
Balaji to Rao, no run

full and straight on the pads, Venu drills it straight to mid-off and thinks of one. Nagar doesn't and they decide not to run in the end.

Fine leg and third man are inside the circle ...

Balaji to Nagar, 1 bye

slow loopy short ball, foxes the batsman as he moves across looking for a lap shot, and the keeper. They run a bye as Shrrevats tumbles and fails to collect.

Bala comes on. 40 needed off 18.

well bowled Unadkat. Full ball on off, Venu plays it back to the bowler.

3
Unadkat to Nagar, 3 runs

another good shot from Nagar, muscular whip off the pads and it seemed headed for the deep midwicket fence until Kallis came in the way, once again. They run three.
