Amit Jaggernauth, a 22-year-old offbreak bowler, did the star turn for Trinidad & Tobago as they clinched a 48-run win against Barbados in a low-scoring match in Crab Hill. Jaggernauth took 5 for 40, his best bowling figures in first-class cricket as Barbados, chasing 257 for victory on the final day, were bundled out for just 208. Martin Nurse (55) and Dwayne Smith (51) resisted bravely for Barbados, but the rest of the batsmen were found wanting against the slow bowlers. Dave Mohammed, who had led Trinidad's fightback in Barbados's first innings with seven wickets, managed just one the second time around, but with Jaggernauth in form it hardly mattered.

Jamaica rode to a comfortable 83-run win at Gros Islet, after bundling out Winward Islands for just 140 in their second innings. On a pitch where run-scoring was increasingly difficult, batsmen from both teams struggled - Jamaica only managed 136 in their second innings, with Shane Shillingford's offbreaks fetching him excellent returns of 5 for 44. However, a target of 224 proved too much for Windward. Junior Murray kept the fight going with his 63, but apart from him only one other batsman made it into double-figures, as Jamaica struck back with their offspinner Bevon Brown. He finished with 4 for 47, and Jamaica sealed an easy victory.
A superb unbeaten 100 by Sewnarine Chattergoon allowed Guyana to escape with a draw in a rain-interrupted match against Leeward Islands in Charlestown. Following on after being dismissed for 139 in the first innings - 178 in the arrears - Guyana made a much better fist of it the second time around, thanks primarily to Chattergoon. He had top-scored in the first innings too with 37, and, coming in at 60 for 4 in the second, he stayed till the end, putting together a match-saving partnership of 146 with Assad Fudadin (47).
