Harwood declared fit for Australia A series

Victorian fast bowler Shane Harwood has been declared fit for Australia As first match against South Africa A at the Gabba in Brisbane on Friday (4 April).

ACB Medical Officer Trefor James assessed the right-arm quick's injured groin during a six-over net session in Melbourne yesterday.

New South Wales left-arm paceman Nathan Bracken will not take part in the first match, due to family bereavement. Bracken will join the squad for the match in Canberra on Sunday (6 April). He will not be replaced.

Australia A plays six limited-over games and two three-day matches against South Africa A during April.
