Most memorable performance?
I have two, both were in situations where we were on the back foot: against Ireland in 2000 where I came to bat in the first over - with the score 0 for 1 - and scored 70. We won by 30 runs; the second against England in 2005 where we came back from 35 for 3 to chase 140. I was unbeaten on 64.

Favourite World Cup of the three?
I enjoyed each one of them but 2005 has to be the most memorable. After all, we reached the final.

Four things you always take with you onto the ground?
Umm … my bat, my gloves, my cap and my pads!

Best ball you faced?
That has to be from Kathryn Ramel in our semi-final against New Zealand in 2000. She bowled a near-yorker length and I contrived to convert it into one and was bowled. It made the headlines the next day.

Favourite venue from World Cup matches?
I like all the venues I scored runs in but I like Sedgars Park in Potchefstroom, where we played the 2005 semi-final against New Zealand, the best.

Best meal you had at a World Cup?
In South Africa. We reached a week early and were catered by a Bangladeshi family who cooked Indian food for us. My favourite was chicken biryani.
