good way to finish the day
The day did not start quite well for Mumbai
But has surely ended on a very good note
At one stage Mumbai wre 82/5 and everyone expected Aussies to bat
this evening
But Bahutule and Dighe put on a very good 117 run partnership for
the 6th wicket
After a short while, Dighe and Powar put up 63 runs for the 8th
wicket with Powar smashing the ball all over the park
Now Powar shares an unbroken 32 run partnership for the 10th wicket
The Australians are being frustrated by the Mumbai tailenders
McGrath started the day very well as usual
But he was taken for some runs towards the end of the day by Powar
and Mhanbrey as they swung their bat around
Warne was also not very impressive
Dighe put up a brave 84 before he was caught well by Gilchrist

The day has been a good day for Mumbai
They declared at the overnigth score and got the Aussies for 203
Mhambrey and Kulkarni were the main wreckers claiming 4 wickets
each
Steve Waugh as usualshowed his grit character by putting a brave
106* when wickets faded at the other end
After Tea, when Mumbai came in to bat again, they put up a even
better performace by playing the 28 overs without losing any
wicket
Mane remains on 45 and Jaffer on 36 to continue with the bat
tomorrow
The Australians have to put in a lot of thought now
Mumbai have really put up a brave and a very very good show here
Even McGrath looked pretty ordinary today
The Aussies certainly have to put a lot of thought more going into
the Test which will certainly have better batsmen in the
opposition
Get back to us tomorrow at 0400 hrs GMT for the final day's play
